Probably LS1edit since the truck needs to shift at 6400-6500rpm. It falls on it's face after a shift and takes a bit to recover..once it recovers though the thing hauls ***! I'm staying dead even with some modded lightnings and bolt on fbodies from a 55mph punch but when it shifts to drive they leave me pretty bad.

It's either a convertor, headers/true dual exhaust or RMS stage 2 5.3 heads.

Been thinking about belting out as much power as I can out of the 5.3 before I do any more drivetrain mods like a convertor. Been thinking real hard about doing some RMS 5.3 heads for the truck next. But a convertor would really keep the rpms where they should be. Not sure yet though, between the formula AND the truck money gets tight quick.

You're hanging with lightnings for a while! Thats pretty quick. The one I raced about 6 months ago killed me from 55-85!

Could you tell any difference w/ the MAF Translator?

Just a little..wouldn't get it unless you use a dyno to tune it in. It was worth 2-3 hp.
