Default High flow catalytic converter

Hi I have a 99 silverado whit a 6.0 engine and a blower about 500 hp. I have headers and gibson exhaust I would like to know if any body ever used HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER and was there any differents in power...Thanks PS. do you guys think I am losing power..my CATALYTIC CONVERTER is stock.

Most people on here would say you are loosing power with a stock cat, and I would agree. The only way to really know is to measure your back pressure with a gauge. It can be easily done by installing a BP gauge into an O2 bung in front of the cat and taking it for a drive at WOT. GM says that more than 8 PSI and your exhaust is restricted. For performance, I would not want to see over 1-2 lbs of pressure. To answer your other question, Random Technologies and possibly Magnaflow are your best flowing catalytic converters on the market. Remember too, that not all cats are created equally. The precious metals used to make them (and how efficiently and affectively they operate) are very expensive and is reflected in the cost of the cat.

these are the best flowing cats i've seen, haha, jk... magnaflow spun metalic seem to be the most commonly used for high flow apps.

By the way I need help. I was confused if the magnaflow catalytic converter is pretty good?and also where to buy? I do searched and I tried it here for some queries Magnaflow Catalytic Converter. Anyone tried it here.? Any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.
