I swear I read some test on GM cats which showed they really only cost like 2-3hp at the rear wheel. Factor in the cost of high-flow ones and I'd be trying to reuse my stock ones. Plus the risk of pumping out hydrocarbons right next to a cop (or as I'm pulled over) doesn't sound like it'd end well.

from what ive read on this and many other forums is that the stock cats on our trucks flow really well. and wiuthout them u usually pick up a little rasp to the exhaust and what the others have mentioned pollution.
id keep the stocks
