Default high impedence vs low impedence injectors

is there any advantage to running a low impedence injector over a high impedence injector?

Going bigger in an injector means that the components that open and close get bigger and weight more. So the higher you go with high impedance means the more sluggish they become opening and closing.

High-z injectors require little current to open, while low-z injectors require a lot more (around 4x as much). Peak and hold drivers apply this large current to snap the injector open, and then ramp the current down to just enough to hold the injector open (about the same as high-z current). What this means practically is that you can run a very large injector and get the same opening and closing performance as a much smaller injector. This means better idle, better non-wot performance, easier tuning, etc.

The versafueler is awesome Bud. VF + 75s with stock tuning idled better than my moto 60s and many hours of tuning.

The VF does sound good, I think that will be what I go for if/when I get a build 408....

The VF is about 45 minutes install time. Really easy, but you do have to cut into the wiring harness (need to tap the pcm-injector leads).

Don't think there is a peak and hold driver that doesn't require it -- you could also do it up at the injector plug if you like that better, I just went for the stealth look.
