Stick with the truck and TBSS manifolds for the cheap & reliable intakes

Well i just bought one off of ebay for $30.00, so I should have it in a week or so... I will post up pics when it arrives... Since it only cost 30, i am not really out anything...

What Corey? I'm confused, what kind of intake did you buy for $30? One of the Dorman ones or a 90mm truck one?

One like you posted, the dorman. Apparently the quy selling it did a really **** poor job marketing it... all it said was "4.8/5.3/6.0 intake"...

that intake manifold it supposed to be a problem solver kit

eliminating the gm "reusable" gaskets and putting the port o-ring type gaskets and thickening up the faces that contact the cyl heads help prevent warping and seal better.

i've heard rhumor that the port o-rings in this fit the vic jr and wonder if they fit the new pro flo xt

Corey, if that intake manifold is indeed a 2 piece unit please let us know! Port that baby, remove any sharp dog legs inside and casting flash and you may have a nice intake upgrade for the cheap
