This is what the KBB website says about where you can get this truck!
(Available Only in Louisiana, Oklahoma & Texas & Select Counties in Arkansas, Kansas & New Mexico -- Check Residency Requirements for Availability)
Why would that be?

I just went on the Chevy website and built my own.

I entered my NY zip and built the LS ext cab with a lq9 option, no 20's for $33250(power seat, console, bose sytem, no onstar,)
I still don't think it is available up here.

I than went on the GMC website and did the same thing. To my suprise the 6.0l wasn't available for my zip?

Who Knows? GM is stupid for not just alowing this everywhere.
We tow horses and cattle up here too you know

I can't afford one anyway.
I would like to upgrade my 03 Z71 gmc to a 6.0l hd tranny though.

A buddy of mine works at a dealership down here in Louisiana and there are about 6 of them there! He said that they are only available in Louisiana,Texas, and Oklahoma(the truck states) and it is basiclly the leftovers of the SS's parts or something of that sort- 4l65e and the 6.0 and whatever else! They are 2wd's and they have a sticker on the side that says Vortech High Performance or something like that! Ill get him to post on this! They arent priced bad at all!
