hmmm, I guess I need to check my brothers truck, I put some NGK about 3months ago I think his truck is running a little lean... I bought AC Delco's but was planning on buying NGK's when I put the giggly gas on, can I spray my truck with the AC delcos??? I'll hate to be checking the NGK's every week!!

For all yo guys that want performance sprak plugs for your truck check the accel u-groove line I hasve them in my nitrous fed truck and plan on runniong them in my 418 no problems with 35+ bottles sprayed through it. The tips unscrew but not like the NGKs I ran it 12K miles without a problem dont know if it is due to a different design or what work good IMO

ok guys........ very very simple fix for this. any spark plug, with a brass tip that screws on, can be made to stop unscrewing very very simply. Get yourself a pair of cutting pliers/dikes and use the cutting section of it, to very lightly crimp the brass at the very bottom. This will take the brass and tighten it against the threads, and also make it slightly out of round, so it becomes like a compression locknut, and will not back off. This is a one time procedure before install, and you'll never have to tighten your "nuts" again!!!! Don't overdo it, it's not necessary..... just a good lil squeeze, enought to leave a mark, but not bend the **** out of it, and you're good!! dont' worry, the plugs will still grab the spark plug boot no problem.

have fun

LocTite just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. It will impede the electric flow I would think. I'm not certain on this, but it just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I don't think that I've ever had this problem.

it's definatly a problem, with plugs that have a removable cap. ngk, autolite, etc......

the way i described to fix it, works awsome. I used to have misfire's until an old racing guru told me about that, never had a misfire since.
