Sandman, I really don't have anything else to compare it to. It seems to be pretty torquey, but I went from a 5.3 to the 408. You can tell it definitely needs more air in the mid to upper rpm range.

Skeet: What is your basis for assumption on the Holley out performing the vic jr in N/A form? I don't have plans at the moment, but could possibly be going bigger on the shot in the future so maybe I should go ahead and get the vic jr?
