Default Holy Freaking Drone!!

Drove the truck around today breaking the motor in and omg is the drone awfull.... I couldnt hear **** after a 30 min drive, anyone have any suggestions on my particular set up: 3 1/2" down pipe with a oval borla muffler, 408 PT-88..... I dont wanna completely change mufflers maybe just add something inline with it that will flow good, other than that the truck sounds bad *** from the outside

keep in mind my truck is swb and front mount kit.... The total length of the pipe from turbo exit to end tip is probably 8' long and turns out before rear right tire

Go over the axle all the way out the back or add a large magnaflow. I have 3 ft of muffler to keep truck quiet.

My setup is a 3 1/2" downpipe to a single 4" exhaust out the back and I threw on a mbrp(diesel) muffler that I had laying around. I thought having the exhaust all the way out the back (in the stock location) would quiet it down in the truck.
Boy was I wrong. I have an increadible cab drone when I am leaning into the throttle lightly. It sounds awsome at wot. Curious to see what he does to change it.

I'll prolly just add another Borla muffler, but before then I'll get some vids of current sounds with this setup so I can do a before and after comparison

Well, the drone sucks, but I've found the best way to elliminate that sound is to Donk it out!

Like this...

No really, in all seriousness, you might want to think about using a MAC FlowPath muffler instead of a Borla. It has a great sound, really aggressive, and has almost no drone.

Hope you didnt mind a little humor with the "donk" thing, I just thought it would make you laugh.

Good luck figuring it out.
