Default hooker question??

I am looking into buying a hooker aerochamber, I have alway bought mufflers that are 3"inlet/dual2.5"....hooker aerochmaber only makes one and it is a 22" case... but I was kind of leaning towards the 14"case but they only have the 2.5"inlet/dual2.5" on the 14"case.... will I loose any power?? does going with 2.5" instead of a 3" inlet hurt anything???? i am almost convinced to buy a cut-out if I really want it loud??? thanks..

since I have a single inlet muffler, would just installing one 3" cutout be good enough??? or should I buy two and put them after the cats???

I would think a single 3in cut out would be fine. just get a 3" in/out and Y it after the muffler.
