ur MAF 'seperates' the air going through the sensor and reads the amount going into the engine...so the computer knows how much fuel to add...without the screen to 'straighten' it out its a mess.
what makes u think a throttly body spacer will do anything? it 'spins' the air...i guess uthink the 'tornado' adds 10hp to huh? spinning air won't do anything...it will spin for the few inches until it hits the intake manifold and seperates into the runners to go into the combustion chamber...at that point it isn't spinning anymore.

And its not about "spinning the air". Giving the fuel time to atomize is where spacers on carbs are so efficient. Why do you think alot of drag guys run tall deck intakes, because it give the fuel more time to atomize before it enters the combustion chamber.

guess u got one of the few carbuerated silverados from the factory
on my 74 pontiac with a 400ci, i had a small spacer on it...
on my 74 pontiac with a 400ci, i had a small spacer on it...
