how are all over you with engine swaps passing emissions???

AZ checks in the big cities ( Phoenix and Tucson ) but no where else. Same with NM, ABQ gets probed only. Many folks in ABQ register in Rio Rancho/Sandoval county at a friends house and save the $25 bucks.

here in st.louis you have to get checked for emissions every 2 years. What you do is go to the testing place and they put you on the spinning ramp thing and put a hose up to your tailpipe. They read the numbers and if they are under the standard you pass. They do not pop your hood and plug into any diagnostical ports.

They just started emission testing last year here. Got to do it every year with inspection. $40 down the drain!!!!

i beleive in california if the motor is out of a car newer then yours all you have to do is make sure you pass emisions.

Jersey checks on the dyno...a short version of the IM240 test. I should move.
