A converter would be the FIRST mod if I had that truck. As it stands now, my lightly modded Tahoe will smoke any stock SS for the shear fact of the converter. Dropped my ETs 6 tenths with no other mods. What else can you do for the money and get that kind of a return? (nitrous bottles run-out, BTW).

A Bone stock SS with a converter will definately give you a big grin.
The converter made a huge difference. The intake and fans make a little difference, and the exhaust basically makes you think you are faster. But the converter, with that AWD will definately throw you back in your seat.
Id get the SS, and the converter first and youll be happy with your 14 second slips.
If you're not offroading, you dont need the full floater axles anyways

I kinda like to get the SS, people don't give the credit it deserves. I raced a modded civic at the track by chance that had the wacky green paint and black hood and it only ran a 15.3 had i've had an SS I could have smoked 75% of the ricers.
