How to disconnect fuel lines with out the tool??

Red face How to disconnect fuel lines with out the tool??

I know I have seen this some where.. I do not have the special tool needed to pop the feed, return lines off But I thought I saw a way somebody did this. Can it be done, if so how?? I have yet to start into it and actually see for my self.. Thanks

the set is pretty cheap from any parts store.. all the tool does is push the tabs up so u can pull out the line.. you could use screw drivers or something along those lines... be sure to depressurize the fuel system first

Seriously? Spend the less than $10.00 and just buy the tool. You might end up doing more damage trying to be a cheap ***...

Yah seriously I just asked the ?? I will prob go get the tool but fig it would save me a trip up the road if it was a easy way to pop them out..

A/C disconnect tools will work as well John.

All that fancy crap you always post up, you should have something that will work.

I got the cheap set of "tools" aka fuel line disconnect set, but they didnt end up working for me for some reason. I read on here spoolin said he used 3 little screw drivers before, so thats what i ended up doing. Took some time doing tho to get them just right to make it come off..
