Default How good is the ARMOR Coat on PS Headers??

Just wondering how good the quality is on the ARMOR coating that Speed Engineering puts on the Pacesetters. Does it eventually flake or peel? How good does it look? Is it worth the extra $100?

As far as I know mine still look great, I'd say it's easily worth the extra $100..

If it's a ceramic type coating, then pay the extra bucks!
It doesn't only keep the headers from rusting, it keeps the under hood temps down. Your under hood temps will rise quite a bit over the factory manifolds that have heat shields.
Ask Speed Engineering this, do they coat the outside and inside of the headers??
Just coating the outside isn't doing justice. They can still rust on the inside, but that's not the only disadvantage of only having the outside coated.

I had some problems with my coating but i got under it the other day and rubbed the stains off with some scotchbrite. Come to find out, the stains are from the AC dripping condensation on them. Pay the extra money cuz i have seen painted headers on older cars and they rust out and look like hell. My headers have 40k on them and they still look good.

I ordered the headers from jet hot.
There is info on my post on page 2.

They will be here next week. I'll post some more info when they are installed.
