yes I ordered them from Jet-Hot. The $7xx is for the ORY too, I ordered just the headers. I think SpeedEngineering sells them coated for $375, so for $90 more, a lifetime warranty, and a quality coating, it is worth it to me.

It doesn't only keep the headers from rusting, it keeps the under hood temps down. Your under hood temps will rise quite a bit over the factory manifolds that have heat shields.
Ask Speed Engineering this, do they coat the outside and inside of the headers??
Just coating the outside isn't doing justice. They can still rust on the inside, but that's not the only disadvantage of only having the outside coated.

Jim

They also keep the exhaust gas hotter resulting in a faster flow. That's the best reason to get them coated.

After these are installed nitrous we be next in line, along with an Eaton diff, then I may start building the 6.0.

Do the headers that you bought have the 3 inch collectors on them? In the online catalog it doesn't mention anything about the collectors.

I got mine from Jet Hot yesterday.

Yes they are the same 3" collectors you see on all pacesetter LTs.

They did a nice job of getting the coating through the inside of the tubes.

This is the color I got. They look great.

Thanks for the info. I called Jet-Hot yesterday and they said that they were 1 3/4 primaries with 3 inch collectors. What color is that called?
