A TR220/220-.551/.551 112LSA...same cam i have in my truck makes for a very nice powerband in the 5.3 trucks. It's great with a very streetable 3000stall and makes great power throughout the band.Any larger and it's overkill on a 5.3 IMO.

I don't have any sound clips right now.I could go outside start her up and let it idle then upload it to the comp etc etc.It takes a decent amount of time all together though. With uploading and all at least 30mins.
It's not the old mans cam.The old man cam it's very good IMO.
It has a decent lope to it.Do i wish i had gone bigger.Hell no.Everyone goes bigger. As for as i know i am the only one on these boards to go this small and id yno at 356/350 and turn it to 6700rpms.
Larger is not always better as the truck intake keeps me from being able to turn any higher.Same thing applies with a larger cam.A larger might peak a little higher than mine but mine has a more usable powerband.
IMO it's a perfect cam for what i want/need and i only run a 2600 stall and she rips from the line.
Times will be posted up after a track visit this 4th.

Ok i just went outside and let her idle for a min or so.I didn't rev it are anything just idle as i'm not gonna wake any neighbors at 1:15 in the morning ya know. It's loud enough at idle all ready lol.
Once it uploads to the comp i'll upload it to streetfire or whatever and post it for you guys.

Thanks.
I'm curious cause I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a 6.0 myself. Was pondering what cam to go with. I was looking at the TR224, but I only want to run the trailblazer converter, so that cam would have been too big for it. Looks like the TR220 may be a good match, cause from what i read the TB Verter will stall to ~2500, which is good enough for a DD.

The program is building a timeline as we speak then i can upload it to a host and post it up.
The 220 will work great with a TB stall. It's a looser vertor than the one i ahve.I am running a Yank2600 and it's very tight.Even behind the 6.0 it still holds it stall of 2600.Most stall up higher with the extra torque a 6.0 puts out as they build them designed for the power os the smaller engines...
Anyway a 6.0 and a TB stall will end up flashing to about 2800rpms.That would put you at a very nice spot off the line.I just hope you ahve tires that will stick!!!!
