Take the y-pipe off. Use a long screw driver and hammer and go to town. You will need to have the rear o2s deleted with some kind of programmer.

Thanks!
Will deleting the o2s hurt the performance (fuel mileage etc)?

Deleting the rear O2's won't hurt mileage, performance, etc. Their purpose is to monitor the cat converters. The front O2's are the important ones that the PCM uses to adjust a/f ratio.

Don't do it, there's no point. Exhaust stinks and the cats also help reduce raspy sounds in the exhaust. The stock cats on these trucks are some of the best flowing stockers in the automotive industry. Seriously. I am running more than 500HP through my stock ones right now. No problem.

Running over 500hp through the stock cats doesn't mean ****. You could run 1000hp through stock cats, or say suck a golf ball through a garden hose... you can do anything the point being its not very effective.

I've removed my cats and have noticed an increase in power and also a reduction in my ET's. The exhaust wont get nearly as bad as you think especially if you have a chambered muffler on there. I've ran a Dynomax Bullet and it wasn't that bad, but now that i've gone to a Aerochamber is perfect, no resonnance or 'raspiness'

Yeah, save the honey comb and powder. You can get good money for it at a cat recycler.
