LS6 springs are not that big an upgrade, they work
for the 'vette because those LS6 heads also have
lightweight valves. If you want to slap regular valves
around like that you want a better spring and a
better pushrod. And you might as well step up to
at least a baby or "old man" cam as well. Then you
can really scream it.
