How to Make E-Fans Come on After Turning Engine Off
Was wondering if there was a simple way to make my e-fans cool down the coolant and engine to a specific temp after shutting off the ignition and walking away?

toggle switch is the only way i know of. get a two prong toggle switch, run one wire to power source and the other to tap in to pin 42 to ground out the pcm.

There is a setting in Hptunners. Ignition off "disable temp" and "run time". I have mine set to run for a minute after the I shut the truck off.
But to make it really affective you really need an electric water pump.

I guess there is no way to do it that way on my truck.
I would like to have them run for a 60-90 seconds after truck is shut off like yours does.
Does it do it everytime the ignition is shut off, or when the PCM detects a normal operating temp? I would rather it not cycle everytime it is keyed on then keyed off.
Any insight on this?

Have nelson change your fan settings as joshluther said... It will only run if the coolent is over the "disable temp" and will only run for the time selected in the "run time" tab. I think that is as close as your going to get unless you add some type of controler.......

most definitely!! All you need to do is program it if you have the nelson harness!!! If you don't have one then you need to use relays to do it
