Cool How to make a H2 fast?

I'm a noob on the board over here. It seems like you guys have some awesome trucks! The company that I work for is building a H2 show vehicle and we settled on my idea. I wanted to build the fastest H2 that I could. The problem is that I don't know what I should get to achive this goal. I was thinking a h/c package, lt headers, exaust, supercharger, and n2o. What else would I need? Where could I find all of this info. I was on the H2 forum but they could care less about anything performance related.
Would it just be easier to buy a create engine, and build that up? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to make sure that we end up with a badass truck.

Thanks

I think the proper cam and a Radix (smaller pulley ) with the right tuning would really get that beast moving.

I agree, and don't see any reason that you will have any trouble making power. The motor is the same that the guys here are moddin' big time and making big power. I'd ask a few of the known "gurus" such as BigTex and Parish8 to help with the cam choice. And check with Project R motorsports and TByrne (both sponsors you can find a link to over on the right ------>) for a Radix supercharger and other bolt on goodies. Good Luck, and welcome to the board!

Here is what Lingenfelter did with their H2, just to give you an idea. You could do it for less, Lingenfelter is kinda expensive...but bad-***.

Thanks for the input. I like the lignenfelter H2 but its not fast enough. There is a company out of FL that says they have a H2 running mid-12s. They say its 0-60 in 4.6 sec I believe. I need to make the truck faster then this. I do have a $30k-$35k budget to acheive this, but I don't know what combination of parts would acheive a truck this fast. What would be a wish list for you guys with a 6.0L? Do I need to swap out anything on the engine besides the h/c, especially if I want to run a 150-shot? Also I haven't seen any nitrous kits for the H2 so I assume that I need a universal kit. Can I get this with anything bigger that a 150-shot?

Thanks

I would either go 408 with a huge turbo,a nice shot of giggle gas, LT headers, worked heads, swap in a built 4L80E with a 3200 or higher torque converter, oh, wait.... I mean just do what Parish8 is doing...

Or, swap in a new diesel with upgraded turbo, and just program the hell out of it.

If you got the budget...

Get a 427 short block (billet crank, billet H-beam rods, forged pistons)
AFR 225cc heads
244/250 .560/.590 112LSA cam

Get an ATI F1 blower setup pumpin 12-15psi...I'd prefer a twin screw or roots supercharger but I don't see the ones available able to feed 7.0L of motor to 12-15psi efficiently or at all.
~3600-4000rpm stall converter (hey it's a show vehicle!)
Build the 4L80E up
A 100hp shot of nitrous

Launch in 4Hi and break a tie rod, PRICELESS

Sorry had to do that. As long as the thing is not raised up suspension wise via the T-Bars it should be okay.
