I think a stroked 6.0 with a Radix will do <600rwhp.

John-can I still put n20 on top of the stroker and supercharger safely?
I would really like to do the turbo setup, but I have no idea where I could even go to find someone who will set it up properly. If anybody has any ideas of where I could get this turbo deal done in the Chicago area, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

This thread kinda started it all for us. You can find a bunch of info about turbo setups here if you do a search in the truck section for "turbo".

Here's a link to some pics of the kit thats on the market now.

do something like BigTex did with the Escalade project of his, but instead of DP nitrous make it Twin Turbos....that would be FUN....Tex can probably give you some good ideas of how to get that thing moving.

someone said above you could do what i am doing, i am prety sure it would get you into the 11's, these prices are probably on the high side

forged everything iron 409 with heads and cam ~$7000
cmotorsprorts single t76 kit ~$5000
built 4l80e ~$3000(i think you have a 4l80e allready if not swap one in)
duel intank racetronics fuel pumps ~$500
converter ~$1000
57lb injectors ~$400
lots of tuning including some method of reading 80lb+ of air, i think i will try that pro m or whatever maf sensor set up unless something cheaper/better comes along. lets call this ~$3000
front locker ~$500?
electric cut out ~$250?
NX wet kit to make up the rest, may need it's own fuel system but probably not. ~$1000

looks like $22k, i hope to hit 9.99 with it eventualy

Parish8-That sounds perfect. Should I go with the t76 turbo, or should I go bigger? Wouldn't the bigger turbo make more power?

t76 is the largest that fits their kit and they didn't relly seem interested in seting it up a thumper unit, i would rather see an 88 on there but what can you do. probably have to go with a custom set up if you want bigger.

the t76, fuel pump set up and 57lb injectors seem to be a prety good match for each other, they will all max out around 900fly wheel hp. then just the basic nx kit for another 100-200hp to give it that last push, have to watch the fuel presure closely to see when that duel intank set up max's out but if you need a small seperate fuel system for the nitrous then now would be the time to set that up. i think just the t76 kit pushed hard will get me far into the 10's once i get the driveline all built to take it.

there are sure to be parts failures along the way, i don't intend to make this plan sound easy but i think it is posiable, you can just wait a year and see how i do

one other thing, right now the 57lb injectors(more like 66 at our fuel presure) are about the bigest we can run with out stock factory pcm, if you go with a larger turbo like an 88 then you will need biger injectors for sure, then you will need an impedance converter to run the injectors or a whole after market computer set up.

some will say an after market computer set up is a good idea for what you have in mind but i don't know anything about them, i am going to see if i can do it with the factory pcm.
