I'm with you on this one. There's people here running 3200 to 3400 + stalls with full boltons and cam and still can't get in the 12's.

For easy high 12's I'd say:

weight reduction---220/220 cam at least---LT's and good mufflers---3000-3500 stall---K&N FIPK or equivilant---GOOD TUNE---and last a good set of slicks, because youll need them. lol

My truck now weights 4210lbs without speaker box, only amps, no spare and no bumper (it has a rollpan) plus 160lbs (my weight) to a total of 4370. Last time I ran the weight reduction I did besides spare was tailgate and passenger seat. Running stock 05 17's w/275/50/17 Nittos in front and 27x10.5x16's M/T ET Streets and hit a 12.92 at 102mph, 1.74 60' and some traction issues. I've hit 12.93's with more weight reduction and 13.0's with full weight including bumper on hot and humid weather but it was on 26x11.5x16's and had better traction. This damn thing seems to like 12.9's and 13.0's cause it keeps hitting them despite weather variations of 20 to 25 degrees and no matter if I take off weight or not. Go figure. I've ran this thing hot without cooling it run after run and it will hit consistent times, off by a couple of hundreds.

When I had my 5.3 I had a 212/218 cam w/self ported heads, asm headers, 2800 vig, 3.90's, e-fans, k&n intake system, and cut out and quickest pass was 12.81 @ 103.5 and 1.72 60'. It was also dyno tuned by Futral Motorsports.
