How many washers? (Transgo question)

Re: How many washers? (Transgo question)
2 washers, with PC solenoid disconnected,
I get 1-2 chirps at 1/4 throttle and occational 3-4 frame shutter.
Think I'm gunna reconnect the PC solenoid since Superchips programming.

Re: How many washers? (Transgo question)
I think I'm going to go with the servo and 1 washer and of course without the HPP3 shift firmness. Does that sound like a good combo? The Vette servo just increases line pressure on the 1-2 shift or is it all around?
I bought my servo through KDS Performance for $15.

I've decided that I'm just going to run the Transgo kit and not the Vette servo.

Re: How many washers? (Transgo question)
Goldenvelvet- I installed the Trans-go before I had the programmer. I was under the impresion the trango would make my tranny full manual. I hate that it kicks down when I have second selected. I diconnected the PC Solenoid because that was part of the Transgo directions. The PC (Pressure Control) Solenoid lets the factory make soft shifts. After I installed the kit it was obvious there was a bog after the shifts. It would chirp but not spin. After the Superchips programming it kicks sideways during 1-2.

Ryan23-I'm not saying you're wrong but my truck would stop pulling for a second when it shifted. Maybe the canadian version is different.

Re: How many washers? (Transgo question)
So whats my problem. I have the servo and the Hypertech and it gives happy shifts but not tire chiping shifts that I want. Is TQ managemant holding me back?
What would happen if I disconect the PS solenoid with the setup I have
P.S. I have an albern Gear with some fat 275's outback and it does not like to break loose anyway
