Default How mods affect boost?

Just saying you start off with the stock radix system:

1. Add k&n open filter

2. Add ASM headers

3. Cut off cat's

4. Add magnaflow 3" in 2-2 1/2" out

Will this affect boost any and how? Also how will it affect A/F ratio? thanks

I have pretty much those same mods and more, few not, but my boost didn't budge off of the rated 6lbs with the 3.30" pulley. Cam and heads, I believe, are your biggest potential boost changes. I don't think what you have listed will do much of anything.

In theory it would drop it slightly since the air moves a lot easier with those mods, but I couldn't tell that it was dropped off from what he factory claimed.

Sorry, Still recovering from last night

When you add a free flowing exhaust like headers and a magnaflow you will see your boost levels drop slightly. You have to remember that boost is actually a measurement of flow so don’t be concerned when you see less boost.

Or lack there of ... the blower is still moving the same amount of air, there is just less restriction there so it moves more freely.
