Boosted 6.0 use a Goodyear Gatorback 4061115 belt. The safest way to maximize you set up is with custom tuning done on the dyno with full diagnostic motoring and a wideband.

I don't know anyone out there, being from Tennessee, you could probably try Arizona Speed,I'm sure that there are others that have those kinds of facilities and expertise.

thanks for the info. I only know of one place in AZ that has an AWD dyno (I think the place is called Dyno Soar). I'm not sure if that place will wideband tune. Right now I have a Wester's and I'm thinking about getting EFI Live and Edit.
AS&M is a couple miles up the road from me, it'is a nice shop but they only have a 2wd dyno and besides, they are very hesitant to mod up GM trucks because of the weak tranny's.
If anyone knows of somewhere else in AZ that will tune my truck on an AWD dyno, let me know. Lyndon said to listen (or scan) for detonation and KR, do you think I will be safe without the wideband tuning? I would hate to blow the engine with just 16K on it.
I'm assuming I can p/u the Gatorback belt at any auto parts store? I'll stop by Autozone and check them out.

i dont have a boost engine but i have seen RPM-24 run his stock bottom end 5.3 at 11 psi with 150 shot and make at least 25 passes at the track!!!the key to his engine was lots of fuel and good tune!! i saw him run a 11.7x@114 one time and many times an 11.9x@114 and it was stock, i saw it when it came out of the truck!!!they drove the truck like they were trying to blow it up!! they drove the truck as hard as anyone could !!! it lived a few months with the spray and boost !!! i think he went to every track in NC!!

I have heard of another guy here in town, though, Dave Turner, who might be able to do work on our trucks. I went in there the one day he had closed down his shop early. Anyway, you can try him - let me know via PM what you find out, I'm curious too. I will need a cam & spring install soon, not to mention I don't know who's going to swap out my stock tranny with the new GMPP 4L65E I just got in today... Still need a converter too...
