over at silveradoss.com we had a little get together in wichita, KS...one of the Texas trucks showed up to join in the fun...we all ended up on the track later that night...i think the Texas ran mid to high 15...i can't recall what the stock SS's ran that day, but if i do remember they beat him by a tenth or two.

Is anyone here sure what the rear end ratio of the SS truck really is? I heard that it was 3.73, but the window sticker on my 03 SS didn't say. I would really like to know.

he's correct, current SS truck's are 4.10 gear.

You know, I do go through Round Rock, Texas a couple times a month..... But he might not like the outcome. Either way, I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime to see the new Texas truck.

I was paaing by a dealership in california and saw that looked like one of those texas, did they also make them for california ???
