How much hp/torq can the stock 4l60e handle?
I lost my 2nd gear after only 10days of having my magnacharger on. The tranny had less than 3000 miles on it.

well with my procharger mine lasted a little less than that.

Do you have the intercooled one ?

I have a white 2002 Silverado, short bed single cab with 5.3/3.73's, magna charger, jba headers(changing to AS&M soon), true dual exhaust, flex a lite 282 fans, airbags, 2-1/2 inch body drop, 20 inch Boyd Coddington Timeless 6's, everything is shaved(even tail lights and tail gate), oh and ghost flames, everything that was chrome is now white too, Tranny and converter are next, then heads and cam <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

oh, and my magnacharger is not intercooled, that kit came out shortly after I installed mine, I had no idea it was coming out or I would have waited for the intercooled one.

well i lost my tranny with very little mods for a new tranny if warranty won't cover it i would recommend tcs they are over there on the left they say there trannies can hanlde 700 ft/lb of torque and they have a 1 year warranty as long as you don't over heat it also they have covertors and they will restall it as many times as you would like it's tcs check it out ------>

I am going to have the tranny built by Phoenix Trans in Weatherford,Tx. and use a Yank 3000 converter. I hope to see a big difference.
