It depends on how you want to make the power. Nitrous/turbo supercharger or high rpms

the stock cast pistons are the most limiting factor,

I have'nt found out how much power Gen 3 motors can make but I'm trying.Flem how's the Radix running in the Suburban?I see you're trying my stratigy of using road hugging weight to counteract all the massive torque of the Radix.Just kidding, but these things make super sleepers. If I take mine to the track every slow car there fights to get in line next to me.I beat a stock Mustang GT 4.6 by over 2 seconds and if that was't bad enough I put a .03 hole shot on him on top of the 2 seconds.Talk about getting ribbed by your frends I bet that guy is still hearing about it.

Everything is in the truck, we just haven't fired it,( I'm expecting to have to do some tuning on it to get it exactly right, with the cam and heads I'm probably too far out from the magnuson tuning.) I've been out of town for the last two days and the shop where it is isn't open on the weekend, so its sitting there on the lift. I haven't put my summer wheels on it yet so its sitting on the stock 16's so it will be the ultra sleeper. I'm going to order Edit today or tomorrow I printed off the order form, I'm guessing I'll have to get autotap also to do the diagnostics.

i think i am pushing the limits of a stock longblock as much as anyone. 8psi + 75shot, about 15runs set up that way so far. if i enter my numbers into the horse power calculator at http://www.prestage.com/carmath/ i get

5000lbs and 11.92 = 583hp
5000lbs and 111mph = 533hp

so i would guess if i ever got on a dyno i would be over 500rwhp, not bad for a stock longblock

Flem, superchips offers custom tuning options for supercharged cars and trucks in dose'nt hurt to ask. They may have something to work with your setup. They changed my shift points and tire size but there form offered a lot more options.
