So, after reading some more and hearing what you guys have said, I did some more cam looking around. Found this cam and think it fits better into what you all have told me. Shorter durations, less lift, and a narrower LSA. And, I think we're going to concede on the compression a bit, stlill shoot for higer, but mid to slightly upper 11's. Been looking into higher stall convereters as well. That might have to wait for a little while, not quite fitting into the current budget.

To answer your question, if you have at least 93 gas wherever you are 12:1 shouldnt be a problem. My 408 had 11:1 compression and I ran it with 7lbs of boost, never had an issue, it just ran like a raped ape.

I would get a custom spec'd cam if I were you. Patrick G specs for like 25 bucks and if you get him to grind it the 25 goes towards the cam.

I have thought about that, and I may very well end up going that route.
