How much would Hi flow cats hurt my E.T.'s
To start off I live in a nice neighborhood (full of retired people). Well after over 3 years with no Cats, my next door neighbor comes over and says his wife (that has leukemia and is doing kemo) is complaining about smelling exhaust when I start and drive away in my truck. He asked me if there was something wrong with my emissions system. I'm sure its actually cause after the new motor (about 8000 miles ago) it got headers and 3" true duals (LOUDER) and that she is over exaggerating. While Kansas doesn't have emissions laws I'm afraid if she trys to make to big a deal out of it I might get checked by a cop for cats. I told the old guy that cats don't really work till they get hot and with my cams overlap it probably does smell a Little more exhausty then a normal truck. He acted like he understood and said that he can't even smell it but his wife is really sensitive and he told her he would come over and talk to me about it. I guess I will just drive the SHO alittle more often, she is a really nice old lady and I don't want her to be uncomfortable. If I do have to get cats back on it will it kill my upper end power?
