its the tune not the injectors, you dont know for shore if its lean until you put it on a wideband

When I Bought The Truck, It Had Magnaflow Exhaust And That Was It, And The 3.42 Limited Slip. Basically Stock It Ran Real Good, Like 14.6 In The Quarter On A Good Day, Gave My Buddys Turbo Eclipse Tail Lights Until My Govenor Shut The Fuel Off. Now Its Lifted 7 Inches, And Has 35's And With The Mods I Cant Get Traction, Stock Tires, It Goes Nowhere. As Of Now The Truck Runs With My Buddys 98 Z28 All The Way Until Around 115 And Then He Gets Me, My Guess Is The Aerodymamics. Ive Topped It Out At 138 Mph, And Then It Starts Wobbling From Being Lifted, But Thats Only 3/4 Throttle. I Love These 5.3's And Would Put Them Up Against Any Hemi Truck Any Day.
Who are you kidding 138 MPH - yeah right.

Its O.k. To Bash, But The Truck Does Perform Well, And We Ran It Was From A Rolling Start Of 20 Mph, Which Trying To Turn 35's Is What Had To Happen, Im Sure From A Dead Start He Would Get Me But From The Roll, His Automatic Z28 Which Doesnt Take To Much Driving Experiance To Operate Ran Side By Side With My Truck, And Then He Pulled At Around 115.

Theres Always One Who Doesnt Believe Somebody Else Right. Believe What You Want, Im Sure Truck Will At Least Do 125, I Bought The Escalade Gauges That Show 120, And I Hit That At 3800 Rpm, Take Yours Up To 5500 And Im Sure You Can Reach 130+ As Well.

Well, my friend and me were in his 03 excab 2wd truck with some weight reduction but on stock size tires. My friend had is hitch and tire removed also. He has a cam, headers, 4.10s custom tune, no cats, and an air intake. We got raped from a roll from 25, 45 and 70 by a stock ls1 z28 w/3 people in it. It was an auto also. If its even possible, i cant imagine how long it would take one of these trucks w/out some decent mods to hit 138.
