you might want to talk to jonathon at sts. he has a SSS and he is running 10 lbs of boost with the meth injection. you can put their dual controller on and run 5lbs on the street and turn it up for races or dicking around and the meth kicks in so it saves you money on the meth and is street friendly. In the future this is exactly what I will be doing to my LQ9, traction will be my biggest problem. also get a stall around 3000-3200.

i don't want to get more then a 2800 stall because i will still need to tow our boat around. how much power do you think i can get out of the STS kit. could it make around 500hp?

Nitrous, STS, Radix, more cubic inches....done right should get you down into the 12's.

Don't forget about your tranny! If you move that truck into the 12's, you'll need some tranny work sooner or later.

And if your towing, my Radix did great with towing!

Easily. Come on down to Orlando and I'll take you for a ride

At 7 psi, I'm hitting 560 ft. lbs of delivered fw torque (as per HPT scanner, which is reportedly within 5% of the dyno local to HPT, but no true dyno numbers here yet). As F8L mentioned, he's hitting 12.6 on his setup without the meth, and on a smaller motor.

I can tell you you'll be over 500 fwhp on the SSS with the STS.

Rwhp is a different story, but you can get there with the STS kit as well -- probably easiest of the packages you mention.

I'll probably get ragged on for this but what the hell...

Considering you wanna wait til next summer to do this, Whipple and Kenne Bell are supposed to be coming out with intercooled kits for our trucks... now we all know that both Whipple and Kenne Bell's Customer service sucks, but everyone here agrees that a Twin-screw is the most efficient supercharger on the market. The only thing holding them back now are the lack of intercoolers. I would go with that + cam and heads or a turbo... just my .02

Actually I am using the meth on the 12.6 runs but I was just as fast without it. I am only using it now because Rick felt I am maxing out my 43lb injectors and so we started lightly misting the charge with meth. I use so little of it actually that I have not filled it in over a month and I have more than 14 passes durring 2 trips to the track and I commute 150miles a day and nail it at least once a day at 12psi. I still have about 3/4 of my 1ga tank.

If you go by weight and traps I have to be around 480-500rwhp so I would assume TQ is at 500 or just above. So 500HP is easy to do. 500RWHP is tougher but still doable if you plan it all out and have a good tune. I plan on seeing how much this motor can handle once I get my 6.0L backup motor built and get a real tranny that doesn't slip.

Ohh and remember my drivetrain loss due to the transfer case and the fact I run the full 1/4mile in 4wd.

Kinda like Erik in his AWD SS.

would i have more power with the STS kit then with a radix?
How much boost could i run with the STS Turbo.
if i put in a new cam and 2600 stall would i be into the 12's and be making around 500 hp. Also with the STS kit, will it fit since i have TOG headers?

Do you know how much the total kit will cost? If I do the STS kit I will go big and want to run as much boost as I can. I already have a shift kit but I would get my tranny rebuilt for more power so I could run as much boost as possible. Can you put a intercooler in as well as the methanol to be able to run around 12-15 psi of boost.
