Combination also sell turbo cam to suit the turbo as well.

Yeah the Combinatin Motorsport kit is awesome. I am saving for it right now. I asked Parish 8 some questions about the kit at his site. As far as boost control the kit comes with a manuel boost controller, that work with different springs in the wastegate. The kit comes with a 9 pound boost spring which is what I am going to use. You can also get a two stage electronic controller for meth injection, but my truck will be fast enough at 9 pounds of boost. If I can kit 500 rwhp with my cam and exhaust I will be happy. If you think about it, supercharger are nice, but the radix is the only complete kit out there and I would rather have the turbo. I was looking at a Procharger, but i was told not to get one and after finding out I would have to buy injecctors, a boost controller and a 3800 supercharger went up to 4500.

My truck is running 13.80's on street tires at 5lbs of boost with an STS kit. I cant spool the turbo all the way up off the line because it blows the street tires loose. I get full boost about 60'. I should be able to get low 13's to high 12's with a good set of ET Streets. With more boost, meth, or nos. Low 12's shouldn't be a problem.

Did you say 3-5 thousand to spend?
If so, I want you to go ahead and forget all this forced induction talk.
I'm not trying to be a complete roll here, but you are not going to get a turbo or s/c for about 3K unless it is a really cheapo one that barely anyone here runs.

well the STS kit is around 3-4 and a radix is around 4.5-5
i just don't know what to get
some people say that the sts kit is not that great and the radix is the best but some other people say that the sts kit makes more power.
then i hear that the sts kit can get me down into the lower 12's but the testing that went on at kansas that a guy that came down from sts to show off the kit and he had it on a C3 and he could not even get his truckto brake into the 13's.

Chevy High Performance is running a 4 part build up of a Silverado SS. Parts 1 and 2 are out, part 3 should be out very soon. Part 4 is done and was submittted but might take a couple months to get in print. The 4 parts show what works and what doesn't. These 4 parts should give you a good road map if you can wait that long.
