How to spend it wisely?
Ok guys I have Finaly paid all my bills off and settled on a accident lawsuit from 1 year ago. I have approx 6,500 dollars to spend. Im not handy with tools although my friends are. Here is my question what is the best way I can use the money to make my engine stronger and put out at least 400hp to the rear wheels safely and still be a daily driver. Keep in mind this is my only vehicle and I drive it daily still has to be reliable. I have a 2004 Silverado Lt with a 5.3. Its extended cab stepside 4x4 Z71. Here was a small list of things I thought would be good
Dynatech headers
Gibson Super truck exhaust
nitros Express kit 100 shot
KN FIPK
Mild Cam
Heads job ( ported Polished etc)
vette servos
B&m tranny cooler
Shift Kit
westerns tune
E fans
Big maybe a Turbo (sts) or A pro charger.
Trying to stay at my price range.
Any suggestions I live in ohio and a good shop is hard to come by here. So i have to rely on friends. uless anyone knows of a good shop in ohio that can do good QUALITY work.

If I was in your shoes and wanted to stay with the 5.3 Id look for a bargain sts kit, full exhaust, plugs, wires, shift kit and stall
oh and dont forget to account for tuning 500 for a custome mailorder or hp tuners software Id go with hp tuners. Then get ready to run 12's in 4wd.
If your going na and have the space to store a motor I would get a 6.0 with heads and cam, shift kit, full exhaust and tune.
Do you want to stay with the 5.3?
NA or FI?
those are the two primary questions you need to know before you start putting things together

Pacesetters wont work on a 4wd anyway. Dynatec's are too damn expensive. A LQ9 6.0 would be easiest, but a cood cam, tune, LT's, exhaust, intake, and N2O should get you there.
