Default How's this setup sound? what E.T.?

Looking at picking up a vinci trucker cam for cheap. Specs 216/224 .551/.551 115lsa. Circle D 3000-3200 stall. 3.42 gears(open diff... for now) Rest of mods are in sig. Sound like a good combo for a 4.8? also what about a 150 shot on top of that?

ET guesses? My best pass to date is a 15.75 at 91mph. That is without stall. heavy 20's, crap tires and shifting way too high. ET guess for just 150 shot without the cam, cam only, and cam+150 shot?

Hard to say, you should be able to get low 14's with the cam and good converter and I would get trutrac. Need tune for the new cam of course and get LT's if you don't already have. I looked at your sig and saw nothing about headers.
This is not counting nitrous of course.

Someone else can chime in lol.

This is just a guesstimate, many factors matter here like weather, altitude, reaction time, traction etc.. Really know way to give a better estimate.
You could always put stock sized wheels/tires on when running at the track to help out too.. Or just get new gears.

Are you planning on running 20's with the 3.42 gear? That will hurt you the most of everything in your setup.

I ran a 14.2 with a 125 shot stock 4.8. i had a drop in k&n filter and a magnaflow muffler but stock tailpipe and ypipe with cats. With the right heads/cam combo i have seen a 4.8 go high 11s with 4.10 geas 3200 stall and slicks. My guess is u could run mid 13s on just a 150 shot but stock fuel pump wont handle it. Mine ran out of fuel at the 1/8 on a 150 shot. Post up some videos and time slips when u run it though. Its should be interesting

Something else is wrong if you can't run a 150shot. I've ran well over 200 getting my fuel from the rail with a stock fuel system

Stock pump will be fine.
I'd say 14.2 to 14.4 on motor with 3.42's, cam, and supporting bolt ons, converter etc.

I'd say 13.0-13.2 with the juice, MAYBE a lil better if you had a dr and could spray out of the hole.

That will be a good combo you have there.
