HPP3 settings with a TC
i have my HPP3 settings at +3, +10, and the shift firmness is ON. should i change anything? the thing i am most concerned with is the shift firmness. do i need this or not with a TC? yank's website recommends not to use shift kits to increase shift firmness because of the stress it will cause on the driveshaft. i've heard the shifts are sloppy or soft with TC. my yank 3000 felt great today. i am still breaking it in with 50 miles on it. only done about 3/4 throttle so far. i can feel alot more low end power now. my truck used to dog low end due to my exhaust and K&N mods. TC is definitely a different feeling, but you get used to it fast. i plan on towing my 19' boat for an hour's time this weekend. anything i should be aware of before i tow since i just had this TC installed? i should have a couple hundred miles on it by the time it is for me to tow

Re: HPP3 settings with a TC
I would just leave everything the way u have it. BTW what do u mean by +3, +10? thanks!
towing should be fine since u only have a 3000. I think the max towing weight for a 3200 is only 2 tons, bu yank says the 3000 still retains the same towing capacity as a stock TC.

Re: HPP3 settings with a TC
i knew the yank3000 was fine for towing, that's one reason why i bought it. glad to keep my stock towing capacity. just didn't know if i should wait til i put more miles on it before i tow. to answer your HPP3 question, check out your original post about "afraid to use HPP3". i initially responded there. later
