HPtuner help needed in NH.
I got the HPtuner to "fine tune" my truck which already has a Nelson tune. The problem is, I have no idea what to do with it. Not a clue. none of it makes any sense to me. Just a bunch of numbers. Anyway, is there anyone in the NH area that has experience with HPtuner that would be willing to help me?

I'm about an hour and fifteen from NH... but I could give you a hand at some point. What were you looking to tune?
If you want to make some logs with the default scanning setup, I can see if I can make any recommendations.
Greentahoe, it's not TOO bad - it can be pretty overwhelming at first. There are really only a small handfull of tables that you need to worry about.... a small handfull out of like, 75. (a complete guess there)

I live at the seacoast in NH, but know nothing about tuning, but I learn things very quickly.
I could give you a hand and attempt to figure it out if you want to meet up somewhere.
marc_w if you come up to help him I would like to meet up with both of ya, cause we are a rare breed here in the North East. And i might learn a thing or two.
Where r u from DanaliHD?

I'm in Barrington. It's near Rochester,Lee,Dover. I spoke to Dez Racins in Seekonk, Ma. They say they can tune it but have never used HPtuner. At $150/hr, I don't want to be the guinea pig.

There's a guy in Concord at Performance Dyno that says he can do it, but, when I started asking him questions he said, yeah, we usually use a predator to tune trucks. I almost just hung up on him. I don't think he would have a clue what to do. There's another guy in Pelham at ****'s Auto who is supposed to be the bomb at tuning imports, but, I don't know if it's the same as tuning a truck. Then there's always New England Dyno in Worcester, MA, they didn't sound like they had any interest in it. That tells me they don't know how to do it either.

Pick one thing to fine tune to start with and start lurking in the tuning section here and at HPT *only* reading about that one thing (to stop from being overwhelmed). If you post what you'd like to start with, I might be able to give you some pointers.

Lets start with my tcc issues. at 55mph, the torque converter locks up, i think, and it feels like i'm driving a 4cyl. It doesn't easily downshift. Also, it seems to stumble.
