I would take HP tuners. You get an editor and a scanner for 2 vehicles types for $500. I have also heard very good thing from EFI. You might want to look into that. Stay from ls1 edit. I wonder if they are even still in business?

i went with hp tuners because of the amount of people that have it (information easy to find), customer support and usability I cant imagine it being any more user friendly and 2.0 is getting ready to come out

Carputing is stilll in business. People just hate on it because it doesnt come with free logging software. Cant hate pioneering software/hardware. EFILive does have FlashScan now. You can read and flash with it. So thats a possibility too. People also say Edit is hard to use. Truth of the matter is, they are all hard to use. You have got to know what youre doing. You just have to learn from playing with the software and from others. Learn how to read your logs and learn what to change to correct certain parameters.

go with HP Tuners, I have mechanical background, and it seemed to be very user friendly to me. 99Silver5.3 is correct, it won't matter which one you buy, if you don't try and learn it. Play with it, make changes, correct it. To me half the fun of the program is being able to play with it. Told my brother that in the old days it would take me half a day and alot of work to make my truck drop from 15.3 seconds to 14.8, but now all it took was a click of a button on my laptop.

HP Tuners has a good website to help you when you get stumped too, lots of great people on this website as well, that can help you. Dive in!

CAUSE NO ONE AROUND HERE HAS WENT TO THE TRACK AND MADE A PASS.THEN MADE SOME CHANGES THEN MADE ANOTHER PASS TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE I AM JUST CURIOUS,TO SEE IF THEIR IS MORE IN THE PMC TO GET OUT OF IT.ALSO I CAN DO SOME LOGING WITH AND WITHOUT CONVERTER LOCK AND UNLOCKED.I CAN ALSO PUT THE TIMEING REAL HIGH FOR THE LAUNCH THEN PUT IT DOWN AS I GO DOWN THE 1/4 MILE.JUST TO GET SOME DIFFERENCES.
