The enhanced cable allows you to input your wideband or like data directly into HPT. Then you can graph that along with the HpTuner scanner. It also has a couple of outputs.

It sounds like you don't NEED it.

I've got the expensive combo with autotap and EFI PRO on the same cable - both discounts for it?

This is really tempting. Too bad I have a couple of buddy's vehicles on my Edit cable. I'd really love to dump that crap. Their lack of 03+ in-truck tuning stinks.

I'm in the same shoes as you BigTex! I have the high dollar EFILive/AUtoTap stuff, but EDIT it wouldn't bother me ONE bit to get rid of. ATAP I could even live without, but I've kinda grown partial to my FEILive.

If I trade in both of my cables, that would only make it 150 for me. Hmmmm I wonder if there's any other promotions for having the Pro version of EFILive.

I see on the HPtuners web site that they brake there packages into years. I have 2001 chevy 1500 with 5.3 but a 4l80e out of a 2002 suburban. And after this motor go's I plan on going with a 6.0l and who knows what year it will be. If I buy just the package for the 2001 will I have the capablites to tune everything? I wouldn't see why not, just want to know for sure.

Tuning programs go by the PCM year. It doesnt matter what year engine or tranny you have.
