Default HUGE problems, need help ASAP

Well after taking my truck to the track and racing it, I thought my tranny was slipping, so i didnt race anymore. Well i drove it to school and back this morning and it is HORRIBLE now. I am getting multiple cylinder missfires like crazy. Sounds like I'm running on 2 cylinders I swear. My dad thinks it might be bad gas (I got gas earlier that day from shell, 93 octane). What should I check first? I want to pull the valve convers and see what it looks like under there. I just changed the oil 3 days ago, there was no metal shavings on the magnet and the oil looked fine.

This thing is making me so mad. It feels like the motor has lost compression, but I don't know how that would happen, everything in the tune looked fine and i wasn't getting knock or anything.

Yeah, I'd check plugs/wires. No light (code) thrown?

I'm about to go pull the plugs. Letting it cool down some before I do it though.

It was a cylinder 2 missfire at first, then the check engine light started flashing so i scanned it again and it was reading multiple/random cylinder missfire.

This is how it was acting. I got half a tank of gas wed afternoon, went to a car meet and did a little racing, then I took it to the track thur night and it would get off the line hard (2.150 60 ft) then it would fall on its face at about 4k rpms. Then it has progressively gotten worse since then, to where it will hardly idle and has practically no power at all. I barely got this thing home.

My dad told me to pull the fuel filter and drain that line and check for water. I'm hoping its just bad gas.

I did my old motor, but not this one. The motor ran fine before wednesday.

This one has maybe 20,000 miles on it now. Was pulled out of an 06 that was rolled over. Motor looked fine when I put the cam in. The plugs looked good (stock ACDelcos) when I pulled them when putting the motor in. Have been putting in royal purple 5w30 and lucas oil stabilizer in every oil change since then (about 7000 miles now, changed twice)

Damn man that sucks,

take your fuel line off the manifold and put a 1 liter bottle on it and turn the key to the on position to get as sample of gas, see what it looks like

also if you got "bad gas" you need to drop your tank and empty all the gas out and flush it out, as well as your fuel lines and your fuel rails

get ALL that crap out of there
