just put a new fuel filter on it. Didn't fix anything, it sounds worse now.

It sounds like only 1 cylinder is firing now

I just checked the front plug on both sides, look fine.

And no timing chain slippage, it looked fine when I did the cam swap, and there is no distributor.....

How about a MAP/MAF disconnected, or vacuum line leak? Those would make the truck idle crazy and feel like its running on less cylinders.

Yep, normal oil pressure and no voltage drop besides the lack of idle speed for the alternator to run good.

****, ive gotta go to work guys. I'd really appreciate it if you guys kinda debated this out and ill check back later

Checked the oil dipstick and it still looks fine, no coolant loss that im aware of. the front spark plugs on each side (easiest to check) look fine, and it will hardly even hold on idle now. It is progressively getting worse. I have a whole nother set of coils to try if I need to, but it is throwing a multiple random missfire code. I will drop the tank and drain it when I can and see if that was it. I also have a good set of injectors to swap over if I have to.

thanks alot guys

it really honestly sounds like 1 cylinder firing. Do you think 7 injectors could go bad?
