I've had those things fly off or get knocked off before...I'll have to remember to be careful around intakes or just remove the tube before.

I'm sorry, but that's damn funny!

Yeah, there are a number of ways to get it out. Duct tape on anything long enough to reach in there... one of those claw-grabber things...

I'd just leave the TB stuff connected, unbolt it, and move it up out of the way temporarily.
