Default I cant get my asp pulley on????

Well I have the cam swap done for the most part, cam is in, valve spring in, putting everything back together. I went ahead and got a set of asp underdrive pulleys, well, I can not get the thing to go all the way on the crank. I have tried heating it and using an impact gun, the impact gun say it is good for 265 ft lbs, it is almost all the way on, but I can not get it to go the last 1/4 inch. I am kinda leary of pulling the starter and trying to wedge something in the flywheel teeth, but I am out of ideas. I might be able to get ahold of a bigger impact gun, but I dont know if that is the way to go. Is it possible this pulley does not go on as far as the factory did, I am out of ideas, any help would be appreciated. If some one could look at there asp installation and see if it goes all the way back or it there is 1/4 in gap would be great. Thanks.

when installing the factory pulley, we put a large socket on the inside of the pulley and hammered the pulley on the rest of the way. not sure if the ASP is the same though.
