Ok scott how will a ls1 will not fit if. 6.0 will and budhays not being a dick but I got everything thing to do it I just want to know want needs to be done

If you swapping motors for more power, put the 4.8 pistons in the ls1. 4.8's have flat top pistons and will increase you compression ratio while keeping the aluminum block ls1.

All LS engines have the same basic footprint, and ls1 will bolt right in, you just have to use the truck accessories.

Also you really should search, you would have saved alot of time, Its there for a reason.
