I have a 40 series Flowmaster with 3" in and dual turndowns right after the muffler..... I love it... sounds SOOOO clean, and real mean.

i have shorty headers to a h-pipe to hollowed cats to 2-flowmaster 40 series that dump right after the mufflers. It is LOUD. I mean like my father could hear me getting off the on ramp 1/2 mile down the road when i was on my way to work. It sounded sick but was louder than the 70 decible limit that there is in my town.

I a test they did awhile back on LS1 F-bodies the Flowmaster system had the WORST flow compared to all the others they tested. I just wish I could remmeber exactly who was in the line-up....

I Really liked my Corsa for sound and excellent flow but for something cheap the Magnaflow works well but like any packed muffler it's going to go bad eventually. I hear a lot of people like Spintech also.

LOL it's on my T/A though. Not the truck. Reason I say it had great flow is that I had a cut-out right before it and I never saw a gain with the cutout open vs closed and that was with a decent set of heads/cam and running 11.6@115mph n/a. Didn't get to try it with the nitrous. I just ran it open, god damn that was loud! LOL

I bet the Corsa sounds meaner on a T/A than on a truck. That will be my next exhaust system, unless B&B drops their prices alittle bit. I'm getting my Magnaflows/electric cutouts installed tomorrow. I didn't get to hear it at the shop, but the mechanic said it was so damn loud with the open Thorleys.

Heck yeah, open header on my truck sounded sick with the 226cam. It wasn't a nutty as the T/A was open headered but the 11.4:1 compression had a lot to do with that.

Just don't get any idea to drive it opened up like that. It sounds cool at idle or quick revs but driving it sucks! I broke a bolt on mine once and drove it with nothing past the y-pipe and no cats and it drove me up a wall and didn't feel like it pulled as hard. The truck btw.

How much was your electric cutout?

I got two QTP 3" electric cutouts from a member on the board. I got them for $225, so I couldn't pass up the deal. They came hooked up to one switch and look great! I think I got a hell of a deal on them.
