i think there is a problem with towing or at least this isn't the first i have heard that you have to be careful. you would not want to take my truck and load it to 15000lb's and try and tow up a steep grade. it would make the power for it easy but wouldn't take long for things to get ugly. i think if it was turned down to a safe 5psi or so that it would be ok but maybe not. the thing is with the turbo you would be tempted to hit that hill at 70mph because it would do it but the heat would be building fast.

i think with a cast iron manifolds and limited boost you would be ok like the sts kit.

Like you said , I'm only Pushing 5# boost and the turbo being that far back it doesn't heat up as much as it would with your set up. BTW I like how your setup runs. Good race truck. I'm just set up for towing and a little street racing. Got to love that turbo.

You'd would have fainted when I told him for his application he'd be happier with the Radix.....

His truck has ok top end but the bottom end feels like you're already towing a 5klb trailer even when nothing is attached! As much as I give you guys **** about my STS being better I like the Radix and know when a person should get it over another brand. :p

Anyone see the TV show about the Banks twin kit for the SBC?

Here is the kit: http://www.bankspower.com/twin-turbo-products.cfm

Check out the exhaust manifolds... http://www.bankspower.com/twin-turbo-system.cfm

On the TV show (HP TV or something?), they mentioned that the exhaust side of a turbo can easily glow from heat - they said Banks designed these things so they won't sag from the turbo's weight, with all of the heat generated under heavy loads.

I think that is the limiting factory with front-mounts... a strong enough header/log/manifold system.

Quick Reply: I heard you can't pull heavy loads with a turbo
