Default I need gears.

I have found a good way to spend the $200.oo "play money" from my tax return.

I have some rims and tires of a Denali and they have something like a 31.25 inch diameter that and the 3.42 gears I shift out of first at 50mph and second at 87mph. At 65mph with the cruz on Im at/about 1600rpm. I have no get 'out of the hole' and a lot of topspeed (that I have no need for)

So 4.10's what do you think??

for sure go with the 4.10s. i went from 342s to 3.73s with stock tires. But when i put on the 26 slicks i really feel a difference. i wish i had gone 4.10s. besides i think the next step up is a 4.56 and thats a little too much in my opinion

My only fear is how it will effect my gas milage.

Dude don't waste your money on 3.73 or 3.90 since you have a huge tire combo on there. 4.10 is the only way to go. And I might sound like I am full of ****, but I did not notice any difference in gas mileage since my 3.42 to 4.10 swap.
