Dodges suck, they are slowest production trucks. Always have, always will be. 4.7, 5.2, 5.9, 5.7 Hemi - These engines are jokes.

Since you asked about hemi kills...My cousin has a buddy that has 5 426 hemis. He has 2 cars with hemis- a Charger and a Super B? (I don't know much about old Dodges and don't care) A '77 Chevy truck with a hemi, and 2 motors just sitting around. Anyways last week he was talking crap about the old "Buick vs Hemi" debate since he knows I have a big block Skylark. So I told him to get out his fastest one and if it could beat my truck then I would go home and get my Buick. I guess he thought I was joking but he finally fired up the Super B and it was on. I put about 3 cars on him 3 out of 3 times (and I am running my stock 5.3 again) Needless to say I didn't have to go get my Buick!! Dodges suck.

Well 426 Hemi's are pretty bad ***. Back when my Pops came back from Vietnam he bought a '68 Hemi Road Runner. 4 speed, 3/4 ton rear end, etc. Basically a badass dirve train in sheeps clothing. I remember him saying that his was optioned with the "Front Disc Brakes" and had to use wheel spacers due to the offset of his wheels that were installed aftermarket! He told me this was one of the fastest cars he'd owned and would beat down on 440 Super Birds, 396 Chevelles, Boss Mustangs, Camaros, and the like of the day...this comes from a person who's had a '55 Chevy, '64 427 Cobra, '70 'Vette LT1, and some other assorted muscle cars from days of yore. But now that car with good tires today may run in the 13s somewhere...not too fast by any means...but for its time there wasn't much faster than those cars. Look at technology: heads/cam LS1s run in the 11sec arena and get 20+ MPG vs 13sec and 10MPG!

I encountered TWO more black 4 door Hemi's last night while driving and neither wanted to run 'em. What's the deal with these drivers?

One was just some dude driving and the other was some punker with his girlfriend...I would have thought for sure he would have tried to prove his "manly-ness" to his woman by running me. Guess I was wrong! Hell he even had a Flowmaster on his truck. You know how much faster that makes your vehicle...

Either way, I will keep cruising, will run one, and whip some *** with my slow Z71.
