if you want something to sound healthy do headers, magnaflow x pipe no cats and 1 chamber flowmasters. that thing will thump. I have the stock cam in mine and you can even hear the little bitty stock cam turning over andf thumping along.

Im more than happy with my 212-218. Worked well so far. Nice lumpy idle too. Feels goo in the low RPM's too.

Thanks Will
went up to NElson Performance last week, and spent a good while on the dyno.
picked up 10 Hp with a small tune. got 10 more when everything was tweaked.

I dont have the final tq numbers but will shortly.

as far as valve train.
I am running Comp 918 springs,
7.4 Comp Magnum pushrods
stock rockers,
and stock lifters for now. I have a set of comp lifters waiting to be put in.

this cam requires a big stall also. I have a 2800 and it is a tad bit to small.
it will also require major tuning. ot will not run on stock tuning, or a hand held tuning

what kind of exhaust are you running? are there any cams that you don't have to run a stall with I would like the lope and the power but really don't want to do a stall at the moment
thanks Will

didnt get to really run at the track.
a C5 vette decided to do a little body work at the end of the track.
also need to drive it around more to let the computer learn.....

by my calculations, on a dyno jet I am somewhere around the 280 - 300 hp mark.....
I gave myself some leway, so dont get to excited about the 300 #, it's just an aproximation.

Yeah, I watched a nice Viper try to move the opposite wall at about the 1/8 mile point in Fontana. Oh well, I guess if he can afford a Viper, he can afford to fix a Viper...
